Washington Youth Tour Information

$500 Grand Electric Scholarship
(co-sponsored by WRCTC)

Attention: High School Seniors from Bison, Buffalo, Lemmon and Faith/Hettinger School Districts – Here is your chance to win a $500 Scholarship from Grand Electric! One senior from each school district and/or combined school districts will be awarded a scholarship for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year.

National Rural Electric Washington D.C. Youth Tour
June 15 - 21, 2012

Attention High School Sophomores & Juniors: Win a weeklong trip to Washington, D.C.

Simply write a 500-word essay on the following topic: "Discuss the various options available to generate electricity and what option is the best for the future of our state and why."

All essays must meet the following criteria:
• Essays must be typed
• Essays must include a cover sheet with the title of the essay, entrant’s name and school they attend
• Include a current picture of the entrant

Deadline for submitting the essays is Tuesday, March 27, 2012.

To be eligible for this amazing trip, your parents or guardians must be a member of Grand Electric.
